A hot air balloon flight is roughly an hour-long flight high above the Belgian fields, forests and villages, guided by an EASA-certified pilot with thousands of hours of flying experience. You depart from one of our launch sites in Flanders, rise gently into the sky, and enjoy a 360° view — without wind or noise, since you simply move along with the air. After landing, every flight is traditionally closed with a champagne toast and a personal flight certificate. As a couple, family, group of friends or company, you can choose a shared flight or a fully private one. Including preparation and ceremony, the whole experience takes 3 to 4 hours.

How does a hot air balloon flight work?

A hot air balloon flight is much more than just flying. From the moment you arrive at the launch site to the traditional champagne ceremony after landing, you're taken along on a unique and calming experience. We take the time to explain everything and involve you in the whole process.

Our experienced pilots and professional crew ensure a flawless, safe and comfortable flight. Whether you choose the Kempen, Antwerp or East Flanders, it's the wind that determines our course and carries us to unknown heights.

Welcome & Balloon Inflation

You meet the pilot and crew at the agreed departure point. After a thorough safety briefing, you get the chance to help set up and inflate the enormous hot air balloon. The moment the burner fills the balloon with hot air and it rises upright is an impressive sight in itself.

Floating on the Wind

As soon as we lift off, all tension falls away and absolute silence sets in. Because we travel with the wind, you feel no draft or cold. We fly at varying heights — from just skimming the treetops to as high as a kilometre — giving you an unmatched 360° panorama over towns, forests and rivers.

Landing & Champagne Toast

After about an hour of flying, the pilot picks a suitable landing spot. Once safely on the ground, we pack up the balloon together. We close this great adventure with the traditional champagne baptism: a festive toast with cold champagne and the presentation of your personal flight certificate.
