A safe adventure
Ballonnetjevaren.be works with a full-time pilot with more than 30 years of experience. We fly with balloons from various well-known partners. Our experience guarantees safety and flawless organisation. We use professional Kubicek balloons, which are strictly and periodically inspected in accordance with legal requirements.
Weather & flight windows
At Ballonnetjevaren.be, we always carry out a final weather check with Skeyes. Based on this data, the pilot decides whether the flight goes ahead. In case of a risk of excessive wind, showers or thunderstorms, flights may be cancelled. Your safety always comes first.
Although summer is popular, autumn and spring are often more stable. It's even possible to fly in winter. We depend on stable weather conditions, which usually occur from two hours before sunset to two hours after sunrise. Flight time is at least one hour. Including the return to the departure point, the whole adventure takes around 3.5 to 4 hours.
👕 What to wear
Wear sporty, casual clothing and sturdy footwear. Avoid high heels and synthetic fabrics. Onboard it's often pleasantly warm thanks to our own heat source. You may want to bring an extra sweater for after landing.
😵 Afraid of heights?
Don't worry: a hot air balloon flight is a worry-free adventure. Because the balloon is detached from the ground with no fixed reference point, you literally don't experience a fear of heights. Don't hesitate any longer!

The adventure lies in the unknown. We drift with the wind, so speed, direction and the landing spot are never fully predictable. That's what makes every flight a wonderful discovery.
Return to base & Après Ballooning
With us, everything is arranged. The pilot stays in constant contact with the chase car. Family and friends can follow the adventure from the ground, and our ground crew guides them to the landing site.
After an hour of enjoyment, we look for a suitable landing spot. After landing and packing up the balloon, we wrap up your balloon christening. We toast together with a glass of bubbly during a cosy closing reception, and you receive a certificate as a lasting keepsake. Then it's time to raise a glass to your wonderful balloon flight!
How do you book?
Call us at 0478/515.730 to schedule a date for your hot air balloon flight.
A hot air balloon flight is suitable for anyone in good health. For less mobile passengers and wheelchair users, we have baskets with a door. Pregnant women must wait until after giving birth.
Important: After your final booking, please call us again on the day of the appointment (around 3:00 PM) for the exact location and time, as these depend on the weather. In case of unsafe conditions, we'll arrange a new date free of charge.
